The dollar appreciated against the rupee at the lowest level in eight months


  Karachi: In the interbank market, the dollar appreciated against the rupee on Friday at 8-month low.
  In both exchange markets the value of the US dollar against the rupee continues to decline. At the Interbank market, the dollar appreciated at 8-month low on Friday and the dollar closed 22 paise at 154.16 in interbank.
  Similarly, the value of the dollar in the open currency market was reduced by 20 paise, which led to the open market rate of the dollar falling from Rs. 154 to 60 paise at Rs. 154.
