Yamaha motorcycle prices hike up to Rs 8,000

 

 
  Karachi: Yamaha Motor Pakistan has increased the motorcycle prices from Rs 8 to 8,000.
The price of the Yamaha YB125Z model has been raised to 146,000, including a 17 percent tax, after the company announced on Thursday the price of the Yamaha YB125Z model, according to the Express Tribune. Likewise, the price of Yamaha YBR125G has been increased by Rs 8,000 to 1 lakh 72 thousand and the price of YBR125 has been increased to 8 lakh 64 thousand.
  A dealer said on condition of anonymity that motorcycle purchases were down 30% in 2019, causing motorcycle companies to raise prices to cover their costs.
  The report states that news of the cancellation of SR-655 by the government is in circulation. Based on the exemption given in this order, 15,10 and Zero duty motorcycle parts are imported, while auto companies usually pay 50% duty on imports of spare parts.
