Corona virus, Sindh government decides to close schools till March 13

  Karachi: Sindh government has decided to close educational institutions across the province till March 13.
  According to sources, a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah was held in which the Corona virus prevention and management were taken into consideration.
  The meeting decided to extend the school holidays to 13 March. According to sources, the Sindh government has decided that all private and public schools across the province will remain closed till March 13.
  It is to be remembered that two cases of coronavirus were reported in Pakistan, after which the Sindh government announced to close all educational institutions till Monday March 2.
  In addition, educational institutions were announced to be closed in Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and other cities.
  Provincial Minister of Education Sindh Saeed Ghani announced the closure of all schools in the province on February 27 and 28, saying that parents were very upset because of the news of the Corona virus, which had been touted by educational institutions. Holidays announced.
  It is to be noted that Dr. Zafar Mirza, Assistant Special Health Officer, confirmed one day ago that four cases of Corona were reported in Pakistan, all the patients are out of danger.
  Measures of Sindh Government
  To tackle the Coronavirus, the Sindh government formed a task force headed by the Chief Minister, who meets at the Chief Minister’s House at 7 pm on a daily basis.
  Syed Murad Ali Shah also directed to further tighten the screening process in Sindh’s border areas and directed the screening of 1500 people returning from Iran.
