The first PSL trophy was won by Islamabad United

 

 
  Lahore: The PSL One Twin Trophy Islamabad United thrashed Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi in the finals despite being third on Thame, the points table. Making space, the Quetta Gladiators were also subdued in a decisive way.
  The first edition of the PSL took place from February 4 to 23, 2106, in UVA, after completing the Budget in October 2015, 5 of the 20 candidates were given the right to form franchise teams, choosing teams to control costs.
