Karachi Kings defeated Islamabad United


  Rawalpindi: Karachi Kings defeated Islamabad United by 5 wickets in the 14th match of PSL Five .
  In the 14th match of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the hosts batted first and scored 183 runs in the stipulated 20 overs.
  Earlier, Karachi Kings captain Emad Wasim won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. Luke Runner and Colin Munro started the innings for Islamabad United. Monroe proved to be just one runner-up after which Rizwan Hussein, who played his first match of the season, returned for batting and returned to the pavilion, scoring 22 runs off 14 balls.
  Colin Ingram made only 16 runs, after which captain Shadab Khan himself came in to bat and formed a great partnership with Luke Runak. Both batsmen scored their half-centuries, Shadab 54 not out with 31 balls and Ranak 58 not out with 87 runs.
  Karachi Kings’ batting began in pursuit of an 184-run target, with players Alex Hales scoring 32, Dale Port and Sharjeel Khan 38, while captain Emad Wasim scored 32 runs.
  The Karachi Kings achieved their desired target in the 19th over and won by five wickets. Karachi Kings player Alex Hales was awarded Man of the Match for playing aggressive innings in the match.
  Karachi Kings have scored four points since the recent match, while Islamabad United have five points. Now Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmai teams will face each other in Rawalpindi on Monday.
