BISE Larkana was established on 19th December 1995. Like all other boards this is also an autonomous organization the thrives and complete its task independently. Larkana is a city situated in the center of Sindh. This board has jurisdiction over a large via which include tribal and rural areas.
It is affiliated with HSSC and SSC level examinations and conducts the exams trough out its radar. BISE Larkana wants to establish a trusted name in school examination and assessment system based on research and innovation and integrated with modern technology for disseminating quality education by refining Intelligence and building character of young generation to compete nationally and globally.
The Board believes in taking a lead role in educating and enlightening young generation through Good governance and participation of key stakeholders in decision making aimed at imparting quality education by conducting fair, transparent and authentic Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and other examinations for assessing student learning outcomes in remote areas of the country in general and in the Province of Sind in particular.
BISE Larkana has a jurisdiction consisting of eight districts. These districts namely are Larkana District, Kamber, and Shahdad Kot District, Shikarpur District, Jacobabad District, Kashmore District, Dadu District, and Khairpur District.
All these districts rely upon BISE Larkana for educational matters. Its mandatory for both private and government institutions to be recognized by the Board or their practice will be illegal and baseless.
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Larkana has the responsibility to control, sort out, and direct annual and supplementary exams of SSC and HSSC classes in the area of Larkana and its affiliated areas. Classes whose examination is carried out by BISE Larkana are 5th, 8th, 9th, 10, ICOM, ICS, FSC, and FA. Annual exams are taken mid-year and the results are usually announced after two to three months.

In the era of globalization, no organization can fully develop without embracing the modern scientific methods.
