BISE Malakand was founded in 2008. It was set up to distribute the rural areas and also to release the pressure on Peshawar Board. Malakand region lied under the jurisdiction of Peshawar Board but after the increase in students, BISE Malakand was established to provide a helping and important hand.
Now BISE Malakand acts as an autonomous body and it is independent of the funds from the government. BISE Malakand is the supervisory body of local areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and it has the duty to conduct and hold examinations under its radar.
The establishment of BISE Malakand is yet another expression of the government resolve to make accessible education to all at their doorsteps. It reflects the commitment of the government to facilitate the students at SSC and HSSC levels The BISE Malakand, situated at Chakdara, provides services to the students of schools and colleges in the area of its jurisdiction.
BISE Malakand covers the area of north western region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Areas lying under the authority of BISE Malakand are two districts and also two agencies that are District Malakand Agency, Dir Lower, Bajaur Agency and Dir.
Malakand Board is responsible to conduct and examinations as well as supervise the educational standards in this region. The study and examinational curriculum to be followed in these areas are 5th, 8th, 9th and 10th (Matriculation), 11th and 12th (Intermediate). Include both parts of intermediate part 1 and intermediate part 2. All these examinations are carried out under the supervision and responsibility of BISE Malakand.
Although BISE Malakand has the areas under its belt which are under developed but this offers no drag on it and Malakand Board is proving to be best in the area.
Results are announced on the official website of the Board that is https://www.bisemalakand.edu.pk/. After two to three months after examinations results are announced on the official website. Students can easily check and view their results. Other than that website also allows users to browse through previous papers and results, or to check for the scheme of studies. It picks examiners and supervisory staff who lead the annual examinations. Malakand Board ensures the game plan of fundamental offices in the joined forces foundations.
As per custom BISE Malakand is also condemned to arrange and host sports activities. The extracurricular activities are proven to be refreshing and quite educational for students. After the declaration of results, high-scorer students are conceded with honors and testaments.
