BISE Peshawar

BISE Peshawar was once a central hub for educational sector of Pakistan in the province of Pakistan. It was the only board and operated all over the main regions of Peshawar.

A commission on National Education was appointed in December 1958. Several Educationist and Experts from different fields of Education were the members of this commission. The main task before the commission was to re-organize and re-orientate the then existing educational system.

The commission felt the dire need of a separate and independent stage for the secondary education. According to the recommendations and decisions of the commission, the University of Peshawar was freed from the tremendous responsibilities of the secondary education.
